Student Device Program

Year 7 Device Program 2021

As you are aware a condition of enrolment at Thomas Carr College is that all students must participate in the College’s device program. In 2021 the College is moving to supplied devices for students in year 7 that is charged in three equal installments as part of the annual school fees, at the end of year 9 ownership of this device will be the students.

This approach to digital devices supports our robust learning and teaching program by ensuring equal access to technology in terms of the quality and reliability of the device. We are also reducing the upfront cost to families by spreading the initial cost over three installments, which we know is important in the current financial environment.

We understand that many parents/guardians will have questions about this new program and as such will have an opportunity to seek clarification at the Year 7 Parent Information Night to be held on Thursday, October 8, 2020.

If in the meantime you have any questions related to this matter please feel free to email your query to registrar@thomascarr.vic.edu.au, contact Mrs. Jo Kruse, or contact on 8734 2444.
