Applications for Year 7 2028 are now open
Application Process
- Step 1: Collect an enrolment application pack from Reception at the Fr Ray Administration Centre
- Step 2: Return the application pack with completed forms and copies of all the required documentation. Applications close on Friday 16 August 2026.
- Step 3: Attend an interview. Details will be communicated after applications close.
- Step 4: Offers will be sent on Friday 16 October 2026. Families will be notified of an offer or if their application is placed on the waitlist.
- Step 5: Acceptance of offers should be done by families before Friday 6 November 2026.
Families who wish to apply for Years 8-12 are also required to follow the application process above.
Important Notice
Current Families
If you are a current family of the College, you will still need to submit an application for future siblings. Places are not guaranteed until we receive an application.
Application Fee
A $100 non-refundable/non-transferable fee will be charged per application. Please note that this payment is not a confirmation of acceptance.
Priority Listing
Our College works on a priority listing which is:
- Catholic children who are residents of a designated priority parish and have attended a Catholic primary school in one of those parishes
- Siblings of children already enrolled in the school
- Catholic children who are residents of a designated priority parish and have not attended a Catholic primary school
- Catholic children from other parishes (for pastoral reasons)
- Children from non-Catholic Eastern churches (i.e. Greek Orthodox, Coptic Orthodox, Ukrainian Orthodox, Russian Orthodox, Serbian Orthodox and other Orthodox) who have attended a Catholic primary school and are residents of a priority parish
- Children from non-Catholic Eastern churches (i.e. Greek Orthodox, Coptic Orthodox, Ukrainian Orthodox, Russian Orthodox, Serbian Orthodox and other Orthodox) who have not attended a Catholic primary school and are residents of a priority parish
- Other Christian children who have attended a Catholic primary school and are residents of a priority parish
- Other Christian children who have not attended a Catholic primary school and are residents of a priority parish
- Non-Christian children who have attended a Catholic primary school and are residents of a priority parish
- Non-Christian children who have not attended a Catholic primary school and are residents of a priority parish.
Enrolment Policy
Our Enrolment Policy is developed within the enrolment guidelines for the Archdiocese of Melbourne as they apply to secondary schools and is designed to be compatible with the College’s enrolment criteria and acceptance will be determined by the Canonical Administrators (Parish Priests) and Principal of Thomas Carr College. Local Public Transport
The College is accessible by bus via the public transport system. Public buses travel in both directions around the College and the closest stops are near the corner of Thomas Carr Drive and Rose Grange Boulevard.
