This year we also introduced a new award to recognise the TCC SACCSS Team of the Year. This award honours the team that has shown great leadership, commitment, pride, sportspersonship and upheld the code of behaviours expected here at the College.

This team trained afterschool by their own choice from May onwards until the last week of Term 3. They went through their season undefeated and represented the College at our first ever Basketball Victoria’s Champions Cup Tournament where they made the finals up against the best school basketball teams in the State.

This team is to be commended for their professionalism, passion to succeed and overall character. They are a great bunch of students who have represented our College with such pride and spirit. They are a true inspiration to our younger students, and we thank them for their commitment to our program, including the coaching and guidance of our younger students. Congratulations to our Senior Boys Basketball Team on being named the Inaugural 2022 TCC Team of the Year. A much-deserved award.

Congratulations to these two students and we thank them for all they have contributed to the Sports Program at the College over the last 6 years of their schooling.

Staff v Students Volleyball Match

On 14 October 2022, some of our highly competitive Staff faced off against our formidable Students in the Staff verse Student Volleyball game as part of Mental Health Week.

After a very entertaining match of skills, thrills and some spills, we are pleased to share with you all that the end result was a draw, with Staff winning the first set 25-19 and the Students winning the second set 21-19.

Thank you to all the Staff and Students that got involved or came to show their support.

A Big Thank You to Mr Wirges for umpiring and Mr Bryson for scoring.
