16 February 2024

Welcome to our Year 7 Students and Families

It was a delight to welcome over 500 members of our community to the Year 7 Welcome Barbeque. As a College, we are committed to fostering strong connections with families and this event demonstrated the wonderful support and engagement of the parent body and excitement of students commencing their secondary education.

The evening provided Year 7 families the opportunity to connect with their child’s Pastoral and Learning Mentor and other parents within their child’s class. Thank you very much to all who attended and supported a wonderful community gathering.

Transnational Education – Engaging Students with the World

Our students are growing up in an increasingly interconnected world and it is important that we provide opportunities for them to connect with students from other parts of the world.

One way we do so is through our connections with the College’s VCE schools through China, near Beijing and Shanghai.

Once again, these students graduated at the end of 2023 from the VCE with excellent results and will shortly begin further study in universities worldwide, including here in Melbourne. We wish them well on their exciting journey ahead.

Throughout the year, we look forward to welcoming visiting students to the College who will be hosted within our classes. Later this year in September, we eagerly anticipate the return of our students to China on a 14 day educational tour through many of the iconic locations in China including time at our VCE schools near Shanghai.
