An exciting opportunity is available to join our College in the role of Accounts Payable Officer. We are seeking a qualified, collaborative, and professional numbers person to join our Finance team.
The Role
The Accounts Payable Officer has overall responsibility of all matters associated with accounts payable together with assistance of accounts receivable functions.
Salary
The salary range is from ESC 3-1 $78,988 and will be based on experience in accordance with the pay scale of the Catholic Education Multi-Enterprise Agreement 2022 (CEMEA).
Key Selection Criteria
The successful candidate will have the following key attributes:
- Has a qualification in bookkeeping, accounting or prior experience in a similar role.
- Demonstrates an understanding and acceptance of the Thomas Carr College Mission Statement and the values that underpin it.
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, including the demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with all members of the College community.
- Professionalism and confidentiality always upheld.
- Demonstrate a good working knowledge with financial systems, the internet, email navigation and Microsoft Office Suite, in particular Word and Excel.
- Working with Children Check and successfully passes a National Police Record History Check
Desirable
- Prior experienced in a secondary school setting
- Prior use and understanding of Synergetic
