On Sunday May 5, we held a Thomas Carr College Country Campus Family Fun Day down at our Coragulac Campus. In Year 9, our students stay at the Good Samaritan Campus in Coragulac for three-weeks, returning home on weekends, for a rich Country Experience Program. We wanted to give the Year 8 and 9 families and opportunity to see where their children would be spending their three-week Country Experience either this year, or next. The day began with a beautiful Mass celebrated by Fr Peter O’Neill. The Mass was followed with morning tea, which was put on for us by the St Brendan’s Kinder Garten community. For the Family Fun Day, we offered parents tours of the campus, there was a petting zoo, a coffee van, a local food stall, activities on the oval, a BBQ lunch – which was put on by Variety, the Children’s Charity, and tours to and from the Red Rock Lookout Point. The day was a huge success and we look forward to building on it in future.
