Inaugural Sports Awards Night

Inaugural Sports Awards Night

On Wednesday September 19, we celebrated our Inaugural Sports Awards Night in the Fr Moran Performing Arts Centre. We were fortunate enough to have Commonwealth Games Gold Medalist and Australian Olympian, Melissa Tapper, talk to our students about passion and perseverance in not only sport, but in life.

Best and Fairest medals were awarded to a student from each ACS sport from Year 7 through to Year 12. Congratulations to all students who received an award on the night.

Special congratulations to Jarrod Cahoon and Grace Newland of Year 12 for taking out the 2018 ACS Awards and congratulations to Tayla Eckley for winning the Pierre de Coubertin Award for 2018. Year 12 students Joshua Rubite, Ariel Russell, Zara Gibson and Shanais Rauner-Smith did a wonderful job hosting the evening. Thank you to Miss Margie White and Ms Samantha Winch for their organisation of this special evening.
