ACU launch of Uni Step Up Program

The Executive Dean of Education Professor Marie Emmitt and the Executive Dean of Health Professor Michelle Campbell were present to officially launch the program. Kate White, a Health Sciences students in Year 12, also spoke to the reasons for her electing to be part of the program and her positive experiences to date with the course.
In 2012, the program will see the offering of Advanced Standing Studies, which is a full first year University subject, made up of 2 units. The units are in the degrees of Bachelor of Education and Bachelor of Nursing.
Thomas Carr College is the only secondary school to be offering such an advanced academic program for its students.
