Good Samaritan Campus at Coragulac

2 May 2014 | General Interest

Dr Andrew Watson on behalf of Thomas Carr College has signed the lease and committed to developing an outdoors program for our Year 9 and Year 7 students.  The original Good Samaritan Convent is being renovated and due to be open in July ready for students to occupy at the start of Term 3. The Good Samaritan Campus will accommodate our Year 9 students during their "country experience" being part of the new iD9 program. Mountain bike riding, hiking as well as geographic and agricultural visits to dairy farms, the volcanic surrounding areas, the Otways and the Twelve Apostles will make up part of the curriculum.  The College will be involved in the local community including Coragulac's St. Brendan's Primary School. The Good Samaritan Campus will also be a venue for Year 7 camps.
