15 February 2018 | General Interest

On Thursday February 15, the College community gathered to celebrate the commencement of the new school year with a mass in the Fr Tobin Gymnasium. We were very fortunate to of had Bishop Mark Edwards, our Regional Bishop as our celebrant on this day.

Following the mass, the College community participated in a whole school Academic Assembly. During the Assembly, the College Captains and Vice Captains,  SRC Representatives, College Ambassadors, House Captains, Liturgy Captains, Music Captains, Peer Support Leaders and Social Justice Captains were acknowledged and received their badges.

We also took this opportunity to acknowledge our high achieving students from 2017. We were fortunate enough to have Monique Tran and Daniela Carapina return to the College where they were presented with a cheque and a certificate of achievment for their excellent results in 2017. Both Monique and Daniela achieved study scores greater than 40 and an ATAR greater than 90. Adam Virgona, a current Year 12 student, was also recognised for achieving a study score of 40 in Computing: Informatics.
