On Wednesday November 1, the Thomas Carr College community along with a number of special guests, gathered together to celebrate the Solemn Blessing and Official Opening of the Fr Moran Performing Arts Centre, the Fr Tobin Gymnasium and the Fr Ray Administration Centre. These buildings were named after our founding Canonical Administrators. They were blessed by Bishop Mark Edwards, Auxiliary Bishop of Melbourne and officially opened by Mr Stephen Elder, Executive Director of Catholic Education Melbourne.

The formalities were followed by a concert, 'A Night at the West End', where our students, staff and a number of special guests including Mr Michael Lapina (parent and member of College Board), Mr Ernie Rijs (Year 11 Co-ordinator), Ms Yasmin Ismail (Thomas Carr College Old Collegian), Mr Richard Knurek and Mr John Connors (Principal of Resurrection Catholic Primary School) performed. A wonderful night was had by all.
