Victorian Touch Rugby Success

27 May 2016 | General Interest

On Friday May 27, the Thomas Carr College Touch Rugby team competed in the Victorian Schools Touch Rugby Championship at Bruce Comben Reserve in Altona Meadows. This is a round robin competition in which the best schools in Victoria play off against each other in a hotly contested and fast paced competition.

In an outstanding result Mr Ramsay and his team, for the first time in Thomas Carr’s history won the Mixed Under 18’s Plate Championship, beating Suzanne Cory in the decider 6-1.

Congratulations to the team and a huge thank you to Mr Ramsay for his coaching expertise and guidance of our team. Thank you also to all the parents and friends who came down to support the team on the day. Your support, as always, is most welcome.
