VCE Unit 3 & 4 Parent Information Night

23 February 2016 | General Interest

The College ran a VCE Parent Information Night on Thursday February 16, which focused on giving students and parents as much information as possible about VCE requirements, the ATAR scoring process and the importance of how a regular homework and study program in the VCE years affects their future results and aspirations. We want all our students to maximise their potential and to experience success both at Thomas Carr College and in their future careers. Effective learning is a collaborative process between the College, students and parents.

The power point has been included here for your information.

Upon registration on the night, parents were issued with a list of key VCE dates for their respective year level which can be obtained from the relevant Year level Co-Ordinator. We trust this will assist you and your child in your planning for the year.

The results of the Parent forum will be published in forthcoming editions of The Beacon.

In order to better facilitate the needs of parents and students in our community we invite parents who attended the VCE Parent information night held at the College on Thursday February 16 to complete the survey below.

We would appreciate you taking 2 or 3 minutes to complete the survey with regards to relevance of the night and the type of information that was passed on during the night. It is completely anonymous. The information that you provide will be used to guide the College on any future VCE PINs.

The link will be closed on Tuesday March 14 at 4.00pm.
