Super Hero Day @ House Athletics Carnival

Super Hero Day

At our recent House Athletics Carnival in Newport we not only celebrated our talents on the track but this was the perfect opportunity to raise awareness and much needed funds for the Captain Courageous Children's Medical Research Foundation Ltd.

‘Super Hero Day’ teamed perfectly with our annual tradition of Year 12 students dressing up at the track. Students donated by casting a vote for their favourite Year 12 Super Hero.

Jesus

Congratulations to Kosta Vlahodimitropoulos, who took out the number one Super Hero, which was ‘Jesus’.

All proceeds were donated to the Captain Courageous Children's Medical Research Foundation Ltd. To help with research to cure life-threatening bone marrow failure diseases such as Leukaemia.

The College received a 'super' thank you from Ms Jessica Bond, the Executive Director of Captain Courageous Foundation.

“We know that our efforts are only possible because of the contributions we receive from generous people like you, and we thank you again for believing in and supporting our mission. Your donation will make a difference.”
