Information Centre

The Information Centre can cater for up to one hundred and sixty students and is a busy learning environment within the College. The Centre includes two major teaching areas, two seminar rooms and a quiet reading area.

The Information Centre has an extensive collection accessible to students and staff. These resources include books, magazines, newspapers, audio cassettes, CDs, VHS tapes, DVDs and board games.

The VCE collection holds study guides and resources to assist students with Examination preparation and assessment tasks.

Staff and students also have 24 hour access to Global Newsbank, an online newspaper database.

The Information Centre has a combination of PCs, MACs and iPad friendly areas, allowing students access to the College network, internet and printing/photocopying facilities.

Information Centre staff are available to assist students with the use of the resources and equipment or to help students with their research.

Student ID cards are given to all students and are to be carried at all times to enable borrowing and printing. Lost cards can be replaced at a cost of $2.50.

The Information Centre is open Monday to Friday from 8.15am to 4.30pm. It is also open during school holidays to staff and students between 9.00am and 3.00pm.

Middle School Homework Club and Late Work Club are held in the Information Centre on Wednesday afternoons between 3.20pm and 4.30pm.

Senior School Homework Help is held in the Information Centre on Thursday afternoons between 3.20pm and 4.30pm.
