On behalf of all members of Thomas Carr College I extend a warm welcome to you and your family for 2009. In 2008 we saw the introduction The Middle School at Thomas Carr College. This structure nurtures Year 7, Year 8 and Year 9 and aims to provide a closer focus to ensure the strong values of the school are held close by all members of the College. Some of these are traditional and some are contemporary, however the underlying focus is that we promote caring, trusting and respectful relationships with all members of the College community.
The guiding principals of the Middle School are encased in three powerful words.
Respect– Pride–Excellence
These words echo the vision of Thomas Carr and his focus on first rate education for all. A strong relationship between staff, parents and students will create a solid foundation for students to build a successful life. Becoming familiar with our website will consolidate this foundation and ensure a consistent approach to the values of Thomas Carr.
